The "DIGITAL Traff" group of companies has completed a project to migrate the electronic document management system for the Government of Ukraine to a new version of the Documentum 6.7 platform.

The customer for the work was the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine. Following an open tender, "DIGITAL Traff" was selected as the project contractor.

The integrator has been collaborating with the Government of Ukraine since 2011, during which time a series of projects have been implemented, including the introduction of a unified electronic document management system in the executive bodies of state power in Ukraine and its integration with the Interagency Electronic Document Management System (IEDMS).

The project was completed within a four-month timeframe. During this time, the migration of over one million documents and two million assignments was carried out while preserving all data. Additionally, "DIGITAL Traff" specialists developed a new version of the "Mobile Office" application for iPad, significantly expanding its functionality, allowing executives to perform all key functions within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) while outside their office.

"The implemented project has significantly increased the efficiency of the system we use. Currently, approximately 180,000 documents are being processed simultaneously in the electronic document management system of the executive bodies of Ukraine. Moreover, the time required for registration and data processing has been substantially reduced, thanks in particular to the 'Mobile Office' application, which enables our employees to remotely approve and edit documents," commented Sergey Frolov, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine.

"The team of employees from the Government and the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine actively participated in designing the new system architecture and testing it. Thanks to this collaboration, the likelihood of system errors and failures was practically eliminated, and the solution was tailored to meet the customer's needs to the fullest extent," noted Alexander Axelrod, Director of the Electronic Document Management Systems department at "DIGITAL Traff."
